The student proposes closing the campus coffeehouse because he thinks it's rarely used and has poor lighting.
The woman, however, disagrees with this plan.
First, she points out that the student probably only goes there during the day. She explains that while students are busy with classes and jobs in the daytime, the coffeehouse is actually packed at night with people relaxing and hanging out.
Second, she addresses the lighting issue. She admits it used to be a problem, but the university recently completed some renovations. Now, the lighting at every table is just as good as in the library, so it has become a great place for students to study.
